Arvor 755 Sportsfish

The Arvor 755 Sportsfish is 7.39m long (length overall) fibreglass fishing boat from the Arvor Boats stable. Built in eastern Europe to handle unforgiving North Sea conditions, Arvor Boats is owned by the giant Brunswick Corporation, the international conglomerate that also owns Mercury Marine, Bayliner, Sea Ray and many other famous marine brands.

The Arvor 755 Sportsfish shown here at the 2015 Melbourne Boat Show had a 225 hp Mercury Verado outboard motor. The 755 Sportfish is rated up to 250 hp and has a 300lt fuel tank. Peter Collins from Arvor Boats Australia says this boat is capable of up to 38kts with this marine engine setup. “It’s a cracker of a boat offshore,” he told Trade-a-Boat at the boat show. “It’s built for fishing, has self-draining decks, a lockable cabin — it’s just ideal for Melbourne,” he said.

The Arvor 755 Sportsfish is a generously specced boat, with many items included as standard. Key features include seating in the cabin for three, plus a spacious double berth; a convertible cockpit table with stern and port benches; a very large amount of storage in the cabin (with further optional storage available); rod holders throughout; two below-floor killtanks; saltwater-deck washdown; freshwater shower; bait tank; windless anchor winch; and plenty of fishing equipment.

The Arvor 755 Sportsfish has a stated dry weight of approximately 2280kg (with the maximum rated engine on the back) engine and a 2.83m beam.
