Elandra Yachts Announces 47ft Sport Yacht

Release planned for mid-2016.

New Elandra 47 Sport Yacht to be a three-cabin model with full-beam master.

Layout to follow Elandra 53 open-plan design.

Twin 625hp diesel engines fitted as standard; 675hp engines optional.

Elandra 47 Sport Yacht design

The plans for the luxurious new Elandra 47 Sport Yacht will be unveiled at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) this month.

“It will follow similar lines to the Elandra 53,” Elandra Yachts managing director Luke Durman explained.

“It will feature all the engineering prowess, shaftdrive performance and the same level of finish that has led to the success of the Elandra 53.”

The three-cabin Elandra 47 Sport Yacht will boast a full-beam master with private ensuite, a forward VIP guest stateroom with shared ensuite on the port side and a bunk cabin to starboard.

The design of Elandra 47 Sport Yacht follows the Elandra 53’s open-plan layout with bi-fold doors that open up to link the cockpit with the galley and saloon. Interestingly, the cockpit has been designed with no loss of space or features from the Elandra 53.

The aft lazarette accessed from the swimplatform lifts up to unearth a cavernous garage for inflatables, kayaks, rods and tackle boxes, dive gear or additional freezers.

The drive line is direct shaft with a low 10 ° shaft angle coupled to a pair of 625hp (standard) diesel engines or 675hp (optional). A 15kVA generator provides ample power.

Launch date

Development for the Elandra 47 Sport Yacht is now underway at the Arundel yard on the Gold Coast. The luxurt boat has a planned mid-2016 releases date.
