With roving entertainers, star-spotting plus plenty of shopping options, the action is all in one great location.

Brush up on your fishing skills with presentations from 7 News weather, beach, boating and fishing expert Paul Burt on the Channel 7 Stage. As the ‘go-to man’ for all things fishing, Paul will be imparting his extensive local knowledge on how to catch all kinds of species at what time of year and even giving away some secrets on the best fishing spots.

GO FOR AN AIRCRAFT RIDE

Swap sea craft for aircraft, and check out the Hawker Pacific display on The Deck at The Docks. The highlight of the Hawker Pacific exhibition will be the Bell 407GX helicopter. This spectacular aircraft features the latest and greatest in aviation technology including a TCAS Tail Rotor Camera. A must see for aviators and non-aviators alike.

 

VISIT THE WATER POLICE

The Queensland Water Police will showcase a range of their operational vessels, including their Tactical Response Boat, jet skis and the Brett T Handran 22m power catamaran. You can jump on board, speak with the officers and get a taste of what life as part of the Water Police is like. Visit the QWP display on E Marina.

 

WATCH A SEA WORLD DEMONSTRATION

Long-time campaigners for marine conservation and education, Sea World will bring their 18m research and rescue boat, Sea World 1 with the prime aim of demonstrating how boaties can be ambassadors of the sea. Get up close to rescue equipment and meet some of the Research and Rescue team who undertake these vital and sometimes dangerous feats at sea.
