Ocean Alexander Returns to Sydney Boat Show

International superyacht builder Ocean Alexander returns to the Sydney International Boat Show after an absence of more than 20 years. Under its new team in Australia headed by Hank Compton, the company will display a new Ocean Alexander 72 Pilothouse motoryacht.

“We are very excited to unveil this magnificent motoryacht in Sydney,” said Compton. “Ocean Alexander has a reputation worldwide for the highest quality build and luxury. There is no doubt she will add prestige to the show.”

Based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Ocean Alexander is a semi-custom builder of superyachts from 72 to 155 feet in Motoryacht and Megayacht series, with manufacturing facilities in China and the USA also.

Ocean Alexander CEO, Johnny Chueh will attend the Sydney show, and said: “We are pleased to regain our presence in the Australian and NZ market with the entry of the 72 Pilothouse in the Sydney boat show. The Ocean Alexander 72P is the baby of the builder’s nine-boat portfolio. Featuring three cabins and aft crew quarters, she is powered by twin Caterpillar turbo-diesels rated at 1150hp each.
