Seeking Sin

This sports yacht is ready to party, with scorching top speeds and even her own bar taps in the aft cockpit.

There’s no mistaking the lines of a Sunseeker.

Even from a distance, that characteristic low-slung silhouette could never be mistaken for a lesser vessel and up close, the seductive sheerline and jaunty rear wing just scream “Good times ahead!”

Of course, if that sporty shape and the rumble from twin MAN diesels don’t have you completely convinced this sports yacht is ready to party, then the name will leave you in no doubt.

Sinseeker is 64-feet of British built opulence and absolutely licensed to thrill with top speeds of 34 knots. Now all she needs is a new owner to step onboard and point her bows in the direction of the next adventure.

Avant Garde Brit

Offered by Gold Coast brokers Leigh-Smith Yachts, this is a stunning example of one of Sunseeker’s most successful models, the Manhattan 64.

That air of sophistication and individualism is a Sunseeker hallmark and these vessels have always been a little more avant garde than some other UK marques, with reverse sheer, big elliptical windows and rakish lines reminiscent of some Italian boatbuilders.

But underneath, Sinseeker is all British class and despite her length, is surprisingly easy to handle. Electronic controls ensure gear and throttle changes are smooth and precise and twin control stations – plus a bow thruster – make tight quarters manoeuvring a piece of cake for this 19.69m hull.

The twin MAN 1050s are the biggest engines offered for this boat and the power on tap becomes apparent when you dump the throttle in the open water.

Those big V10s accelerate quickly until the turbos kick in and the hull glides onto the plane, settling into a fast cruise of 28 knots. You’ll eat up the sea miles with ease…

Spacious Saloon

Belowdecks, this Sunseeker offers vast volume for its size, delivering a sleek and modern interior, incorporating soft leather furnishings and teak finishes with an aft galley that makes entertaining a breeze.

Even better, while you’re whipping up a feast in that well-appointed galley, your guests can keep themselves hydrated courtesy of the combination beer-and-spirits-taps in the aft cockpit.

Yep, you heard that right – twin taps that deliver either fresh keg beer, or spirits of your choice. Dangerous perhaps, but nonetheless impressive.

The aft cockpit also includes a Euro lounge and glass topped table, plus dual access via the side decks to bow or straight up the stairs to flybridge.

Stepping through the sliding glass door into the saloon is to enter a new world of luxury.

Timber flooring in the galley gives way to carpet in the raised midships saloon which offers a dining area behind helm and second stairway to the flybridge.

Fun in the Sun

Downstairs that same raised saloon floor creates enviable headroom in the elegant midships owner stateroom with its large ensuite, walk-in wardrobe, comfortable sofa seating and a dressing table.

Further forward, there’s a VIP guest double in the bow, plus a twin-bunk cabin, to accommodate all your friends and family in comfort.

Heading right to the top of Sinseeker, the flybridge is where guests will want to while away the hours and a folding canvas bimini provides smart protection from the extremes of the Aussie sun.

It’s a great spot to entertain and won’t seem crowded even with everyone topside. Fire up the barbie, grab a cold drink from the fridge and watch the miles drop away behind the stern as you power along at 20-knots-plus.

There are couches in every direction and a large double sunpad to the left of the helm (plus another down on the bow) so your guests can stretch out in whatever manner appeals.

It’s an easy thing to picture yourself up here, zipping toward some remote bay with friends and family relaxing and living it up on all sides. All that’s left to do is pick a spot to drop the anchor and settle in for the evening…
